Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding God’s children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and we ship these meals to our distribution partners. (no bare shoulders, spaghetti straps or bare midriffs, no short-shorts, no sandals, flip flops, high heels, or open toed shoes). Upon arrival, sign in and report to a staff member or meal coordinator. Since you will be working in a commercial kitchen: Maricopa County Health Code guidelines are posted in the Paz kitchen. Please read them. Please park behind the kitchen/dining area. Volunteers are welcome to prepare a plate for themselves once all evening meal service guests have been served. - Sept. 26

Children can participate in activities such as filling hygiene bottles with soap and shampoo, decorating dining rooms, creating thank-you cards for our volunteers, and making table centerpieces which are often taken home by guests. The schedule for Heart and Hands for the rest of 2015: September 12 , October, November 7, and December 12. There is a special day November 26 (‘Deck the Halls’ - Thursday, Thanksgiving Day). No signup required for this event.

Freshman representative elections will also take place at the next meeting.
