12. I'm interested in marching in the Veterans' Day Parade.
The Phoenix Veterans’ Day Parade is an annual tradition for the Hamilton American Red Cross Club. The parade is always on Veterans’ Day, November 11 and begins at 11:11. Sign up for the parade will open in October.
Club members meet at 9:30 am at the North Baptist Parking lot (5757 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ). At 11:30 the American Red Cross begins marching. The parade ends at 1:30 at Indian Steele Park. You will need to provide your own transportation to and from the parade (please arrange a ride to pick you up at the park). If you park at the church, Red Cross will have vehicles to transport you back to your car.
Wear your American Red Cross T-shirt or a red shirt and shorts or pants with a belt loop and pockets (we will give you a water bottle holder that clips only to a belt loop, and you will not be allowed to carry anything in your hands while marching). Also, closed-toed comfy tennis shoes are required. Hats are optional.
REQUIRED: Liability Agreement/Parental Consent (if you’re 18 or younger).
Available on: http://hamiltonredcross.weebly.com/important-links.html. Bring with you to the parade.
You will not be able to participate in the parade if you do not bring this completed form.
If you plan on parking at the parade please you will need a parking permit!
