After completion of the club’s membership, you will need to register as an American Red Cross volunteer using the volunteer management system, Volunteer Connection. You need to create a profile, which takes less than 5 minutes, and submit your volunteer application through the online system. To complete your Volunteer Connection, follow the directions below.
If you are having difficulties, go to the file “Volunteer Connections Directions” which is located at: http://hamiltonredcross.weebly.com/important-links.html The Phoenix Veterans Day Parade is an annual tradition for the Hamilton American Red Cross Club. The parade is always on Veterans Day, November 11 and begins at 11:11. Share your respect by marching in the parade and saluting our veterans. To participate, you will need to sign up for the parade and complete the Liability Agreement/Parental Consent form. There are a limited number of slots, so please sign up early.
Club members meet at 9:00 AM at the North Baptist Parking lot (5757 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ). At 11:30 the American Red Cross begins marching. The parade ends at 1:30 at Indian Steele Park near the Veterans Administration Hospital (650 E Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ). You will need to provide your own transportation to and from the parade (please arrange a ride to pick you up at the park between 1:30 to 2:00). If you plan on parking at the parade, go early. There is no parking form for the event so everyone who parks at the staging area will need to arrive early in order to park in the northeast parking lot. Help support Project S.C.A.B. by donating a box of band-Aids! Bring boxes to the Friday meetings (starting 9/4)! Once we collect 50 boxes we will have a drawing for a pair of movie tickets for club members who donated. Make sure you fill out your name and drop it into the collection bucket! One entry for every box you bring in!
